Repair Development
Repair development is a high priority with us. Once a need for a repair has been identified, the best way to begin the repair development process is for our customer to send a scrap part to our facility, as well as any technical data that is available. If reverse engineering is required, a new part may be needed to be sent to Repairtech to borrow in order to provide us with the best possible data. Our own in-house Designated Engineering Representative (DER) will contribute to the design of an FAA approved repair procedure.
The end result is a repaired item that is reliable and cost effective. The delivery time is often substantially less than the delay incurred in waiting for a new part. In many cases, the salvage procedure provides superior erosion and wear resistance.

Exchange Pool
Many of our repair programs are supported by an inventory of parts available for immediate exchange. Once the customer’s unserviceable part is determined to be repairable, a serviceable exchange unit can be promptly shipped out. The delivery time is often reduced to practically zero and this often makes it unnecessary for our customers to invest in costly exchange pools of their own.

Manual Machinist
Responsibilities Include:
1) Machine closely held tolerances on a manual lathe.
2) Grind closely held tolerances on a manual grinder.
Job Requirements Include:
1) 5 years experience as a machinist.
2) CNC experience is plus.
3) Excellent written and verbal communication skills IS A MUST.
4) Competent and proficient with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
